There are 3 race categories open to the public. The 42-kilometer run is the main category. There is also the 10-kilometer run and the 5-kilometer run. A special 5-kilometer run is also open for Clark Freeport locators/employees. This means Clark locators and their employees have a category on their own independent of the runners who join the OPEN 5K run.

There is a total of 1.8 million Pesos at stake!

The grand prize for the 42-K run is a whopping US$7,000.00.

There are 2 ways to register. One is to go to designated registration areas and complete the registration forms and requirements.

After you complete the registration requirements and pay the registration fees, you shall be given a Claim Stub (to be detached from the Registration Form). Please make sure that the Registration Form and the Claim Stub are properly filled out. You will use the claim stub to claim your race packet on January 9, 2008 at the place where you registered.

If you are 18 years old and above, you may register on-line. Complete the form and requirements and click: “Submit”. Upon submission of this completed form, you will be sent an official e-mail from the marathon organizer. Print out this e-mail and present with the appropriate registration fee on Jan 9, 2008 at:

Registrants under 18 years of age need parental consent and must therefore print out the registration form and submit it physically (with Parent’s signature) to any of the three venues above. Payment can be done in the venues as in the first registration option.

If you are 18 years old and below, you can only register at the designated registration areas. You cannot register on line because our race rules require that you must provide proof of your parents’ or guardians’ consent.

Go to the designated registration areas and provide the necessary requirements. You can also download and print the registration form posted in the website and submit it with parental consent to any of the designated registration areas.

When you register in person, you must pay your fees at the venue where you registered . If you registered on-line, payment will be accepted when you claim your race packets/bib at:

For those who registered on-line, if you wish to claim your packets in the other venues, please advise us via email.

You may get your Race Packets on January 9, 2008 at the place where you registered or paid. You must present your official claim stub to do this.

The 2008 Clark Freeport International Marathon is slated on a Sunday, January 13, 2008.

Runners should report at the starting area ONE HOUR before their race event.

The 42-K run starts at 4:30 a.m.
The 10-K and 5-K runs start at 5:30 a.m.

Aside from the recommended running attire (which, of course includes footwear, shorts, etc.), you are required to wear the official T-shirt that will be provided to you when you claim your Race Packet.

You must also duly wear your official bib. You will not be allowed to run unless you wear your official T-shirt and bib.

The Clark International Freeport is in Pampanga, Philippines. You may take the public transportation to go to this popular tourist destination or bring your own vehicle. Clark also has an airport and, if you should choose to do so, you may fly on the various airlines that fly the route.

Yes, when you finish the race category you joined, you will be awarded a certificate that proves you have joined and finished The 2008 Clark Freeport International Marathon.

This is, indeed, going to be a regular annual event. Watch out for announcements for the next run.
